Attempts at Haiku Poetry
Dec 18, 2023
in the randomness
of my travels, I cherish
the smiles and the souls
cawing is the crow
crashing is the wave of waves
cruising is me — still
pockets of boredom
unseen, engaged always, I
grow up in hurry
to shy moon I look,
hiding behind playful clouds
— a heron pecks wings
on my return home,
heavier is my heart weight,
cherish the smiles close
